The /brag Skill for Claude: A Promo Video for Your Project in One Command

Vibe marketing · September 29, 2026 · Evgenia Skakunova · 4 min read

You built the project in an evening with vibe coding, and there's no energy or time left for a launch promo. This is usually the moment when the launch slides to the weekend, which also ends fast.

There's an open skill for an agent that solves exactly this task with one command. It's called /brag, the repository is open, github.com/latent-spaces/brag, MIT license, more than 11,500 stars on GitHub as of September 29, 2026.

What the skill does

/brag installs into Claude Code or another agent that supports Agent Skills: it also works with opencode, Codex CLI, and Google Antigravity. Then, in your project folder, you just write to the agent "let's /brag", and it builds a short video about the project: with music, motion, and text for the post under it.

According to the documentation, the skill takes on exactly the creative part: how the product is presented, the tone of the video, and which moments to show. The video assembly and render are done by a separate service, Hyperframes from HeyGen, and the skill hands the finished brief over to it.

What you get

After the command runs, a brag-output/ folder appears in the project folder with the video plan, a composition brief, the post text, and a finished brag.mp4 file. The tone of the video can be set with a separate parameter, all the way to a deliberately pompous startup-pitch style. Voiceover is off by default and is turned on with a separate flag, using the Kokoro voice engine through the same Hyperframes.

A new lightweight version with no external service

A second version of the skill, /brag-slim, has appeared in the repository, built for the Claude Opus 5.5 model. According to the documentation, it doesn't use Hyperframes and doesn't pull in bundled assets, but it still needs FFmpeg and a headless browser to assemble the video, just without an external render service. The creative rules and presentation are the same, with its own music and post text. On Opus 5.5 the /brag command switches to it automatically, and you can call the full Hyperframes version separately with the --full flag.

What you need to run it

The classic /brag version needs Node.js version 22 or newer, FFmpeg in the system PATH, and the Hyperframes CLI installed. I haven't checked the terms of access to the Hyperframes service separately. On price and limits, honestly, there is no data, so check the site. The /brag-slim version for Opus 5.5 doesn't need an external service at all, which removes this question completely.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

It suits people who regularly build projects through vibe coding and want a quick video announcement for social media or a landing page without separate editing. It's especially handy if you already work in Claude Code or another supported agent and aren't ready to learn a separate video editor for a single launch clip.

It doesn't suit those who need a video with full control over every frame: the skill decides on its own which moments to show and at what pace, and it doesn't offer fine manual frame editing.

I write about launching and promoting projects in the channel «Растём с ИИ» ("Growing with AI"). If you need not a one-off find but a promotion system for a specific niche, there is a breakdown of channels and prices for 2026 here: promotion channels for an expert in Russia.

Bottom line

/brag doesn't replace a thought-through launch strategy, but it closes a specific gap: a video for the announcement that otherwise wouldn't exist at all for lack of time to edit. The new /brag-slim version also removes the dependence on an external service for those who work on Claude Opus 5.5.
